A.R. Rahman of Slumdog Millionaire on Love

[Rahman]

I've been a fan of A. R. Rahman for as long as I can remember watching a Bollywood film with his music. More recently because of his courage to branch outside of the Bollywood scene and to create the music for Slumdog Millionaire.

Here is one music composer/producer who is completely grateful for his past, appreciative of his future, and shows that in the way he conducts himself. A great role model for up and coming artists.

He thoroughly deserves the Oscar - the first Indian music composer to receive it.

Here is a quote from him that inspired this post: "All my life I have had a choice of hate and love. I chose love and I am here”  - A.R. Rahman

A. R. Rahman is a new experience for me! His work in Slumdog is outstanding. As a film composer and career musician myself, I congratulate him and wish him 100% on future endeavors.
